Summer just got more exciting with our new BPT2 graduates from the recent May 3-4 run!
Maka, JR, Chester, Charlo, Sr Camille & Eliza join the ranks of our next generation play therapists, eager to learn, willing to open themselves to others, and showing a big heart for children.
PhilPlay will explore ways to continue providing you with the needed training and supervision.
“Play therapy is the journey of the child towards healing,
and the therapist towards self-discovery”
– Prince Charlo N. Baga
The next BPT2 run is tentatively scheduled for June. Email us if you are interested so we can add you to the list of would-be participants.
We continue our 10th year celebration with a seminar-workshop in Bacolod City last April 26 & 27!
Ms. Aileen L. Sison & Ms. Uzi A. de Leon talked about “The Use of Play in Positive Discipline” to the staff of Kalipay Negrense Foundation, an organization that cares for neglected, abused, and abandoned children and youth in Negros Occidental.
The talk was followed by a consultative workshop for the staff, both of which were conducted at the Kalipay office in Bacolod City. The following day, a movement therapy session for children ages 9-12 y/o was held at the Recovered Treasures Home, a center run by the foundation in Bago City.
Madamu nga salamat to Kalipay Negrense Foundation for their warm welcome and support! Special thanks goes to Ms. Chabeli Cosculluela, resident psychologist of the center, who arranged for and made all of these possible.
Mabuhay kayong lahat!
